It was the year 1979 that the Brown Cullen Company was founded by Brown Cullen, Jr. and the relationship begun with the people who worked for the clients. Brown had been a golf professional at a country club for many years, with the game of golf playing a large part of his life and at the same time a desire to create his own company in golf. At that moment in December 1979 there was no company, no products, and certainly no clients. What he did have was an idea for a tee sign that gave the golfer where the hole was located on the green and a deep seeded understanding of what courses should have on them. Brown's design principle was that the items being created should blend with the environment and never stand out; by complimenting it surroundings, Brown believed his products would ultimately add to the golfer's enjoyment of the game.

The Material - Bronze, Aluminum, and Lexan are some of the materials used and will last for years and years. This takes us to the next step with the Brown Cullen Company. Brown is now age 76 and to perpetuate the company (he is not going anywhere), he has found three gentlemen who are going to continue the company with the same tradition, feeling, and look. These men are Glenn Nord, Julian Pace, and Mark Sievers, and they are founders of NPS Development. With this new partnership, our company is now known as Brown Cullen NPS.
